There's plenty of reasons, mainly just because a factory turbocharged motor is safer than an NA-T setup. Not to mention, I know these motors better, I got the motor for dirt cheap, I can make power for dirt cheap, and going to a 4 cylinder makes the car less front heavy... Just to name a few reasons.

I wear gloves when drifting usually, the main problem with drifting on a wooden wheel is that it's just hard all around. It's tough to throw and hold the wheel in general... That's why I have a personal neo grinta suede wheel for the track.

Drifting with a wooden steering wheel? I tried that once, but got kinda dangerous with sweaty hands. Love the vert, even if it has a japanese heart.

One of my favorite builds out there (other would be RoyalT's LS 350z). This just has the perfect combination of aggression, ability and style! But the best part may just be the fact that you're getting out there and enjoying the car! If my e36 vert achieves a fraction of this car's awesomeness, i'll be happy.

Looks like you're out there going hard in the paint like Bob Ross. I approve, carry on.
