I'm confused...an sr20det is a 2liter 4 banger right? why would you swap that in if the e30 is a 6 cylinder? Or am I just dumb?Originally posted by Geoff.T View PostNice build. I had one with an SR20DET as well. It was a fun car. I was going to turn it into a drift car too but I just lost interest. Your build makes me sad I didn't go on with mine.

There's plenty of reasons, mainly just because a factory turbocharged motor is safer than an NA-T setup. Not to mention, I know these motors better, I got the motor for dirt cheap, I can make power for dirt cheap, and going to a 4 cylinder makes the car less front heavy... Just to name a few reasons.Originally posted by austindavidg View PostI'm confused...an sr20det is a 2liter 4 banger right? why would you swap that in if the e30 is a 6 cylinder? Or am I just dumb?

Thanks guys.
The interior and engine bay work on this car were done by A&L. I haven't used them since, and don't really plan to... Got tired of them taking months to do simple work because me not being a high dollar customer made my car not a priority to them. Along with other shady they did to me personally, the quality of their work didn't make up for the service.Originally posted by kbuss View PostDo you do your body work at A&L / IND?
