  • Kadett GSI Turbo

Been reading this forum for a long time now, and time to post one of my cars here i'm Henri from the netherlands 27 years young and a car enthousiast, they must be low and fast. Building everything from scratch and even build my own engines (making my own heads etc..).

Don't know if you guys now this car, it has different names in different country's (Pontiac lemans, daewoo racer etc..) but over here its called "Opel Kadett"

    In the beginning it was:

    Meh...

offcourse these cars rust harder then bare steal in the ocean so off with al the sheetmetal

    and on with new panels

Cleaned inside because the car wil see the track also

Painted phoenix yellow from the E46 M3

Rollcage and cobra seats with schrott harness

Brake lines and fuel lines inside the car

The stupid exhaust is gone btw !

Needed an engine, standard 2.0 8Valve boat anchor... now an 2.0 litre 16 valve engine with forged pistons, lighter crankshaft and H rods. Topped of with a garret T3 hybrid turbocharger (T4 internals)

And some airbrush under the hood

    Tried some wheels

But couldnt lower it enough with the DZ's

So tried the Schmidt TH lines i had from my 75 kadett GT/E

But needs moar low with them, and dont fill the arches enough. So now i'm going to restore some oz turbo's and try those. Also had some Ronal turbo's (the original ones with no text) but didnt liked that look.

Going for a custom coil over setup to get it alot lower

Tried some new wheels, there mini wheels (BBS R90 splitrims).

Think they look great, now doing something about the stance. Time for the custom coilovers
