hello there
This is my daily runner so will be taking my time with this.
i know this will look strange to some of you as you dont have this car over in the states but are quite a popular car over here in the UK.
Its a 1.9TDI 130bhp PD engine with 240ft/lb torque and thats just standard.
Here it is as it was purchased in Oct '10'

First thing to get done was the bump strips and handles colour coded to the car

Changed the old badges to the new '10' Fabia VRS badges and also got the pressed mate plates

Bought some Octavia VRS 17" rims as I didnt like the standard ones on the car. Got the wheels with tyres for £100 so a bargain

Friend of mine who works at a Just Car Clinic had the wheels refurbished and was also kind enought to have them sprayed United Grey and also sourced me some Toyo Proxy Tyres and had them fitted too.

Then fitted them to the car. Fitted them straight after work in the car park (my boss wasn't impressed lol), it was -3c and windy as hell but got them on.

Next thing was that i designed my own centre caps using my wheel whores stickers i purchased for the back window lol

here they are on the car, think they look good and very different

Ordered some FK coilovers which arrived in a couple of days so got them slapped on but only problem with these cars is all the coilovers only drop 35mm max!! Bit disapointed as im not getting the stance i want but it will do once I cant sort something else out.
Had them fitted to only find out the anti roll bar whad dropped onto the drive shaft so i couldnt drive the bloody thing!! had to order longer drop links for it to clear the drive shaft so that meant a whole weekend driving round in a '96' 1.4L 16v polo!! not good
Once they were fitted the car did look a lot better, didnt like like a monster truck anymore

Toook the car to JJB Audi Specialist at York for a remap last friday (28th Jan), got it done at a good price due to him being a good friend and me sorting out his 600bhp Audi S4 with some parts he needed sourcing from Germany.
Car is going to be rolling roaded this saturday but should be pushing 190bhp + and over 450ft/lb of torque.
Car is also booked in at the end of the month for the front bumper smoothing which means removing the licence plate and the whole backing and getting it all flushed like this:

Ordered the front splitter too this morning so all good. Bigger brakes will be to follow plus looking to get some new rims but a bit unsure of which to get.
Pics will follow when this is all done so stay tuned
