nice build. only thing to comment on is that with those baller rims you've got coming, your stock callipers will bring the look down. maybe paint them black or swap in some brembos/similar, which would finish the car off nicely (and improve performance as a bonus )

Thanks for the comments guys, the constructive criticism is much appreciated. The V-AFC2 was on the car when I bought it 5 years ago and to be honest has never been touched, I use it more as a second tach than anything lol. Also, yeah I have been battling with the idea of doing a brake caliper upgrade, but I don't want to increase the rotor size, so my only option for aftermarket would be a Spoon calipers, and at $1200 is a bit pricey. Also, they only come in blue, so I'd end up having them powdercoated.

Anyway, I got my MRacing Type I mirrors and my S2Carbonworks titanium lugs the other day...here are a few teaser pics. Should be installing the mirrors today, will post pics!

Sup homies...a bit of a big update here. MY FUCKING WHEELS CAME IN!!!!

Anyways, I also got the interior all buttoned up, Infinity component set installed, all Dynamatted, proper AP2 door panels, and all cleaned up. Here are a couple pics (I apologize for the shitty iPhone pics)...











Also managed to get my MRacing Type I mirrors with the custom carbon trim triangles installed too. The carbon patches over the stock holes are temporary, going to the body shop to have the holes shaved as soon as I get the wheels fitted.

I ordered my tires this morning. Ended up going with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo in 255/35 18 in the rear and 235/40 18 in the front. Should be a nice little stretch up front and a slight one in the rear.



Also been working on the sticker collection, sucks I got ripped off by that guy on Stance:Nation, even if it was only $20. Here's his post, DON'T BUY FROM HIM.

Haha, thanks, chances are very few if any of the stickers will actually make their way onto the car, I buy them more to collect something and to support the clubs and blogs that promote the sport we all enjoy.

The car should be coming together fairly quickly now. The wheels & tires should be here the end of this week or early next. I'll raise the car back to stock height, the wheels will be going on and it will be heading to the bodyshop to have the fender work done and door shaved. Then it will be slammed again and off to the alignment shop to have the BSK's installed and alignment done. Looks for lots of pictures in the near future

Also, got an email from DTD last night and they couldn't get my 235/40 18's so I ended up going with 245/35 18's in the front. It should be pretty sticky with the 245's up front and the 255's out back!

Oh, and even though it saddens me a little bit, less stretch for all the ****** :P

Had an unexpected visitor show up at my door today

So today was the day I had been waiting for for almost 4 months. My wheels finally showed up and I got my first look at them on the car. It is definitely going to take some work to get them under the arches, but with a little roll and pull and some camber, my little slut won't have any trouble taking the big 10". :P Here of some pics of how it went. Also got some nicer shots of the finished interior for you guys...hope you enjoy

First thing I did was relocate my bumper tabs and save my rear bumper to hopefully avoid any unnecessary rubbing.





Then it was on to seeing how the wheels looked. I forgot my lugs at home, so I couldn't jack them up to see how much they came in on the top, but this is at full suspension travel so at least you get an idea of how it'll look. Should tuck in nicely when there is weight on the car with a nice roll and slight pull.

Hahaha, thanks guys. No one seems to want me to use them but you can can't imagine how many offers I have for people to take them off my hands lol.

So got my wheels back from the shop today, here is what followed shortly thereafter.

First look at them on the car, still sitting on jackstands and not even bolted on.
