PSHHH! I'm so JDM, you have no idea! I live it!

    My Truck:

I'd really like the challenge of driving a right hand drive. I've driven an automatic former postal service XJ, and it threw me off a bit, but I'm sure with a little practice I could master that and left handed shifting.

It is a bummer that there aren't many euro cars there, I just love beater Benzo's, BMW's, VW's, and Volvos and stuff. it's just a bummer that a lot of the ones in the US are dumbed down with big bumpers and less engine options... oh well.

Also, even if you did work for NZ's department of tourism, I'd be sold anyways. I just wouldn't believe that the department of tourism would even know about all the JDM goodness there, they probably take it for granted I bet.

yip, but you'll have to learn to shift left handed, cos they're all RHD, straight up JDM yo!

euros are a bit more rare here, and you'll barely ever see top end cars like supercars and roll's etc, cos there ain't enough rich people down here haha i remember when i first visited london, i think i seen more exotics in the first day than id seen in my whole life

disclaimer: i don't work for nz's department of tourism, i just really love my country

Great stuff going on there! That video was lacking some of the humor the others had, but the pedal box and shifter wizardry made up for it.

thanks. yip, 5 speed column shifted. it probably won't shift as quickly as a conventional floor mounted shifter, but id rather have space for two friends rather than one (and with a turbo v8 im not worried about being too slow... haha)

hopefully the gearbox holds up, but if not i may upgrade to a 6 speed wrx box down the track.
