    Yes dude.

Nice to see you grace these pages.

Beemer is on point. Have a look thru my build and see how we did the rear arches on mine. As they r much beefier than vw ones.

    Look forward to new wheels.

yeah i noticed you ground out all the sealant stuff but i couldnt tell how James managed to flatten them?
sam with the blue 36 on throwing stars grinded out all the sealant with a wire wheel which worked perfectly, and then he used a club hammer but it just wasnt getting them flat as we had liked. it certainly made a difference though, i gained a few extra mm clearance but i know when the new wheels go on im going to need them as flat as possible :/

Mine are perfectly flat all round. But with me, James and Will on the case, the car was always goin to be lows n wide wheel ready. Lol.

James used a grinder to get all the sealant out, not a wire wheel. So behind there is totally clean. Then with patience, go around the arch hammering it from underneath. Give it a go, but had patience or you will have wavy arches.

This is awesome. I'm getting my Style 32s repainted as we speak. They look real good on your car.

This is a pretty cool setup, but I think it would look cooler if you used the window switches from an E36, or even an E46.

You know, I just posted some pics of your car on a german message board in a thread concerning cars we lust after...

95% of the reactions there were like "Driving that is actually dangerous in traffic!"

MadMax just saw your comment, it would only be a respray in the same colour, just there is alot of scratches etc, right now its not bothering me, i could correct a fair few with my machine polisher but some are pretty hefty

cheers guys, it would be a real neat touch using oem switches but at the stage of the install i just wanted my car back soon as, i picked it up christmas eve! but it is certainly something to consider. Vegas i will get some better pics of the set up, i have some phone snaps but its all a little unclear

No, they meant driving low like that would be dangerous to other drivers because apparently all you would be doing is swerving around everything and so are liable to crash soon

It's a strong temptation, but since I'm planning some power mods in the future as well, I want to get a compromise between stance and performance... so I think a set of custom shortened coils is the way to go for me.

But... I got another car, after all. Who knows, maybe I'll be crazy enough to bag my daily, one day.

this is a pretty comfortable height, doing 70 i didnt hit the floor apart from once going over a dip, but it was mostly plastic under tray so its all good big thanks to my mates Sam and Mike for getting these shots

Ha ha. I totally know that stretch of the m40. Everytime I drive to Bicester I gun the straight.

                            Rollers look good.
