Update time, she's almost ready to go to the body shop, gotta refit the rear bumper an the wheels an its ready! Got quite a bit done over the past couple of weeks but not alot of pictures i'm afraid (left my camera at home on mutiple occasions).

Ok first off we have the passenger side arch welded, painted an sealed.

Next, tidying up the plates where they meet.

    Another piece of the jigsaw.

    And from the inside.

    And on the outside.

This piece was a problem, the metal was very thin on the car an every time you touched it with the welder it blew hole right through the steel, it took us twice as long to get to some sort of state where the bodyshop could finish it.

    Thanks for reading, Neil.

Ok, its update time! I shoulda been doin this last week but as usual work got in the way... My boss (who is doin the welding) has been snowed under with other welding jobs so my car took a back seat until those other jobs were out of the way.

First up is a pic of the repair piece I made for the drivers side.

Next up is the repair section welded, ground back and then coated with zinc primer to protect it 'til it gets a skim of filler.

And now a pic showing the arch lip seam sealed.

So thats the drivers side pretty much done, next i move on to the passenger side where I made a start making the repair section for the inner lip.

Fits like a glove, almost... Ran out of time to get this side welded up so that will have to wait until next week.

    Thanks for reading,
    Neil.
