  • VR6 Corrado Build

My latest full-on project is another VW. I've always loved Corrados and VR6s, so I picked up a good base from my neighbor. Simple philosophy behind this one; low, wide, and smooth.

    When I brought it home:

Motor was shot so I picked up another VR6 and dropped it in

    How it's sitting now

bodywork/paint is next along with tucking/cleaning up the engine bay. Looking for new wheels too. The car had RSs, but I didn't keep them.

thank you. I've always loved Corrados. Ordering a euro lip shortly and badgeless grill.

seems 'Rados are few and far between, and despite being a new owner, I love seeing others. I'm running Supersports with the helper springs removed. I can still go a few inches lower than where it's at now.

              hope I don't disappoint

I'm really mulling over a new set of wheels. I want something in a 16" diameter and have been in an OEM mood lately, maybe something from Audi or Mercedes (I even have a set of OE 16" Lexus LS wheels that might look good on the car). I've always liked the A8 monoblocks. I really like the 18" design, but 18s are too big on a 'Rado. I do like the 16s as well. Thinking about getting a set:

Corrado's are a pain in the wallet lol, but ya love em to death.

Those audi wheels i dig, don't think i've seen them done before.

fat fives are gonna look great. i almost bought a black SLC with them when i was first looking for my car, but the distance was a little too far and the price was a little too steep.
