  • Chrome, Air, and Interior facelift (VW)

I have this 99 VW Jetta

currently sitting on coilovers....racelands up front FK's in the rear... I don't like them.

My MKV daily Jetta is bagged, this car deserves some bags.

    Start with this
then rip it out and replace with a false floor frame

    then get management parts

    8 solenoid valves
    5 gallon tank
    bunch of air lines
    bunch of fittings
    compressor
    relay
Then ripped up my interior to run air lines for the gauges and front bags

Ran through car instead of under the car, all run through the door sills
then painted the tank the color of the interior and made up some new hardlines

hardlines are going to go through the false floor into a PTC bulkhead fitting which will be connected to the plastic 3/8ths line that will go to the valves and compressor

got the false floor from a local kid since I'm too lazy to build one, plus this was out of a mk3 jetta so it fits perfect. As you can see the hardlines are too short, the almighty swoops *hardline master will be sending me 4 pre bent stainless steel lines that will be polished.

got this 7 switch AVS box for christmas from my girlfriend and will be wiring up next week or so, also going to be getting the final parts to complete the management and move on to getting the bags in.

yes the shifter is shortened, I also have the USRT smart shift linkage installed, going to purchase the short shifter they produced.

As for the photos, my friend is going to be shooting some pictures next week of the build with a DSLR camera since all I have is shitty point and shoots.

            doin work on christmas

ran the wire for the switch box to the trunk, pretty much all I can do until I get more wire to wire the valves and the rest of my parts to finish the management

and heres where I'm at with the valves, I have to move one over and put in another one, there was a hardline from the water trap to the valve, can't do much with it, so removed it and have to put a plastic line in there so that its flexible. Now I just need to get some wire from work the I can start wiring up the box to the valves and my power and ground sources

How did you go about shortening it? just a hacksaw like others on the interwebz?
I want to do this but I want to do it right.

wired up the valves and compressor, all working now, also mounted the valves in their final mounting point.

just waiting on some fittings, new stainless steel hardlines, gauges and more 1/4in air line
