  • e36 build... yes another one

    Here's my e36

    Slow build starting up.
    1997 318is
    Bought the car with 142,000kms
Very clean with subtle mods, seemed like a good starting point.

This is how she looked the day I bought it.

First mods, added clear tails and M3 style diffuser.

    Lamin-x High beams

Now the exciting part... beginning of wheel fitment.

Just picked up these m-roadstars on Monday and test fitted them with the 245 this morning.

Definitely need to stretch some 215s on there and roll those fenders to make em fit.
here's how it sat on the test fit.

in your case -> less tire + more stretch + negative camber = success

        good start.

those 9s need some 215/40s and lowering will ad sufficient camber to tuck.

          roadstars are awesome.

and like mentioned above, less tire and more stretch with some camber and the fit will be way better

exactly my thoughts, plan on ordering the new tires soon. This was just a test fit to see where they sat as is.

Nice start, I've always liked Roadstars on e36's. Looking forward to seeing some progress.

What are the widths again? What size tires do you think you'll run?

                17x7.5 et41 up front
                17x9 et8 in the back
leaving the current 225/40/17 in the front for now and
going with 215/40/17 in the back

205/40s upfront will be spot on too.
