I was in the position where I had brand new 17" tires that fit those wheels but had been used enough to not return to the shop, and my 16's were corded and would need new tires. So I then had to buy the ACS and don't have a job. That money was meant for school, so I need to get it back. I wouldn't say I've lost interest in the car, but I have lost a realistic vision of getting anything else done on a very tight budget. Doing something new will be nice. Don't worry, the e21 will be cool too.
Well that sucks shit has gotten pretty tight but I has faith you're e21 will be drippin in Swag [I **** that word too]

Don't get me wrong, i've pulled the "i've gotten the best out of this car and it's time to move on" move with the b5 A4 i'm currently trying to sell, but for me, this is art. I would just keep it and buy a DD so I wouldn't keep driving it, but I understand what you're doing here. I only hope that things will get as good, if not even better, with the next project. but always....Good luck with sale

I'll miss riding around in ol' hank dragging exhaust, listening to that awesome 4.5k rev limiter, and watching him spit fire. But bigger and better things are ahead. Can't wait for progress with the e21, buddy.

Well boys and girls, I'm selling the tank. It has been a great car and I've enjoyed every bit of owning it, but it's time to move on. I'm at the point in the build where any further steps will be very involved and expensive (read: motor swap, bags, wheels, etc) and that's not the direction I want to go. Plus I've got the itch for something a little sportier and the m20, though reliable and economical, just isn't cut out for that. As most of you know, school has put the brakes on doing anything with Nelson and I'm doing a bit of a shift in life to try to make my education happen. I bought an e21 this morning and will be selling Hank to fund school. Not quite a downgrade, just starting over basically. You guys can read every page of this thread as a documented history of the car, and I'll be totally transparent with any issues the car has or whatever. It's currently on 17x8.5 et 13 AC Schnitzer Type 3101A's with nearly new falken 512's. Asking 6k, but for forum members we can negotiate. Might seem a bit high but you all know the work that has gone into the car, and it's legitimately solid. No rust, totally dependable, new paint, ect. Shoot me a pm if you're interested. I'll be cleaning it up and doing a couple minor repairs in the next couple days so I'll get some detailed photos up of how it currently sits. Making a craigslist ad in a week or so, so you guys get first dibs.

The e34 rear does look so perfect I'm also wondering what it might look like with the front one too

Looks great man I really like it! the color looks like the ones that come on Hummer H2's. You should put the e34 front bumper on it too to complete it
