Sorry to hear you lost that 1jz dude. painful. I'm doing quad side exit exhaust, if i run into anything that might be useful to you, i'll be sure to post. I'm interested to see how you do yours! any new developments with wheel fitting?

Nice one cheers bud, we gotta keep the girls alive. i was just going to cut away most of the centre pipe and cut a hole through the floor pan and straight out over the inner arch and out of the quarter, only gonna be a single 2 inch pipe though and its got to run flush with the body to comply with MOT reg's over here.

Na mate no new developments here, i took the wheels off to give them a refurb but no others have really caught my eye recently.

Been a while since i updated this as shes been away for the winter.

But during that time ive been hoarding parts and carrying out basic maintenence on the old girl.

So a couple of weeks ago i gathered all of my new parts and slung them in the back of the van for a day of fun/swearing maybe a missing knuckle or 2.

The glorious parts i got were as follows :

                2 x 30mm hubcentric spacers
                2 x 50mm hubcentric spacers
                S14 origin side skirts
                Stainless catch can
                Yellow stuff pads
                NGK ignition leads
                NGK iridium plugs
Pipercross air filter OR K and N filter (didnt know which to put on so giving them both trials)
                Homemade short shifter kit
                Mobil oil and filter
                New coolent
AND a replacement for the broken trim.

I also refurbed the veilsides in a metallic grey which looks awesome IMO.

Anyway 2 weeks ago i changed all the coolent and oil and filters.
Then i trial fitted the 50mm spacers on the rear and 30mm on the front and rolled the arches back and got this fitment.

Quite please as its the fitment i wanted and itll get better once it goes lower once im off the farm.

Anyway after fitting the rest of the stuff and not getting any pics (my bad, i was busy) me and a mate desided to adress the skirts.

I got these for very cheap so it didnt matter what i done to them, i just needed them to fit, now s13 skirts were ment to fit with some slight mods so i thought with some mods s14 skirts would fit too.

                I was right.

IF being right means slicing them in half and extending them by 9cm's.
So skirts are half done, in which i mean theyre cut, now ive gotta extend them and offer them up to see what else needs to be done.

So watch this space and with any luck youll see some completed skirts in the next week.

not bad. but those oil coolers belong on a mk1 or mk2 supra.

not a mk3. im interested to see how the s14 side skirts turn out.

                  good luck

Then how come all i done was disconnect it from inside the front bumper, extend the hoses and relocate it on the outside? It came as standard with this engine.

Theyll turn out good, ill just keep at it until they fit.

                    Cheers

OH i gotcha! Tbh i think it suits quite well.

But im in 2 minds about wether to put it back in or not, police are getting quite hot around here and something like that earns me a tugging.

Also im not sure if it will match when the skirts go on, but we'll see

Na mate, its been good for a fair few years, got quite abit of security in the form of good neighbours on this street

Anyway the skirts are nearly sorted but i had to raise the nose up about 10mm so i could get over things, including sticks, died a little inside as clearence is massivly overrated.

I got these pictures once i got back from work as it sat on my street looking quite mean.

Yeh theyre speed bumps behind it on my hill, many plained down a little now as ive been rolling up them quite abit.

I also finally decided what kind of engine im actually going to work on, im gonna buy a 2jz N/A when i have some spare cash and convert it to a single turbo.
Ive seen a couple of people do it and with a few simple (and sensible) mods they're averaging 380 - 400bhp.

Also the main reason is a N/A is alot cheaper then scouring for a 1jz gte so lets see if the plan pays off.
