  • still a diesel... white pearl

    hey!

long time ago.. some E28' were in my life. one by one are gone. dead by rust.. by engine kill.. or sold.

actually i bought an E36 for winter, but brrrr.. 318 M40, the disabled engine from BMW. just get rid of it quickly.
by luck I came to a beautiful white diesel E28.

    here some specs..

    BMW E28 524td from 1984 Alpinwhite
    only powersteering and electrical mirrors.
black/blue interieur, 14" BBS wheels, and some parts to change.

a few parts from my to do and change list...
    all brake parts
    all diesel lines
all suspension parts, bearings and control arms
    ... fortunately, not realy rusty!

first work.. brakes. from drum to disc.
prefacelift have no stabilizer, so i need another rear subframe. hehe.. i killed a '87 524td.. with brake discs and stabi rear and ventilated brake discs in front. very good.
    btw.. and a lsd

    here some pics.

    greetings from austria

              new updates..

              new parts...

here the first pics with my new original BMW diesel lines..
and the new brake line. i changed from diagonal brake circut to one brake circut front axle and one with the rear axle. a lot of will say, this is less save, but its easier for service, have less brake lines and easier for upgrade other parts.. for example.. hydraulic handbrake or braking force regulator

the project is going on. new parts, paint some parts and finished brake- and diesel lines. differentialplate from non-lsd. service and refill the lsd. welding the only 4 pieces with a lot of rust. and build up the frontaxle.

                              @ ealoken: where and when?

                              ---------------

My good old license plates are back on a car. After the first 1.000 kilometers.. i have only to say: It’s a very good car and very funny to drift. Will show you some pitures from the actual condition.

                              Greetings and Merry Christmas
