I signed up just to give you props man. Love the diamond racing wheels. Love the two tone paint. Might have to bite your style on the rims. So sick. Did you have to custom order them or did they have them in stock?Last edited by StanceswithWolves; 03-09-2011, 07:45 PM.

thanks man! thats more effort than most people are willing to go through to comment on much nicer cars so i'll take that as a big compliment. They were custom order. I told them exactly what I wanted and they built them and shipped them out.Originally posted by StanceswithWolves View PostI signed up just to give you props man. Love the diamond racing wheels. side note, sold the prelude yesterday so now I have funding for a few finishing touches to the car.

Did you increase the backspace much over stock? Did you have them powder coat them white and then paint the center to match youself? What did the wheel width end up being? What size tire did you use to achieve the stretch? Those are 15's right? I guess what I need to do is measure from the backspace of my stockers to roughly the outside of the fender to get it flush. Then decide if I can increase the backspace without interfering with the strut.
I like the white wall effect your wheels lend. It really looks good. I was looking at actual white wall tires before I saw your ride. Now I'm gonna have to save a little scratch for some diamonds. Besides finding alloys with the right backspace and offset would be difficult. I'm a huge fan of steelies. I was planning on going from 14 to 15 inch steelies with 20+ mm spacers and some white walls. Now I gotta get some diamonds. Again, just a well executed stance. I love seeing people run what they brung. You don't have to scour craigslist for an insert popular platform here. I'm always surprised when people get flamed for working with what they got. Guy on here recently got flamed for trying to stance his Neon for example. Its to the discredit of the community to do so IMHO. Criticism is to be expected but flaming the type of car is just silly. Sure, E30's rock, Golfs are great, etc. but whats wrong with massaging the daily beater and sharing it with other enthusiasts?Last edited by StanceswithWolves; 03-10-2011, 02:07 PM.

I'm pretty sure you already know how much I love this car man! Seriously is my inspiration for coming over to sw, and to getting one of these in a few months. You are seriously the man, I wish I could do something this unique and awesome. I think I'd probably cry if you ever sold this thing, not even kidding

yeah they're 15x8 et 13. 13 is the offset. backspacing was 4" i think, but I didn't take backspacing into account too terribly much when measuring to fit these. had i done 9's i would have had to be a bit more precise, but they don't offer 9's in street wheels. (call them they make it make sense) tires are 195/50r15 but the tire brand matters too. i use dunlop direzza dz101. the sidewalls are made so that it looks like its stretched in the first place so when you actually add some stretch it amplifies the effect. diamond powdercoats the steelies silver, white or black, or you can order them raw. and yeah i just ordered white then painted the centers.Originally posted by StanceswithWolves View PostDid you increase the backspace much over stock? and yeah i agree. being original is a task that gets increasingly difficult with each addition to the scene. the key to constructive criticism is to be constructive.
