Your car makes me want an E21 so badly. Even on the temporary wheels, it looks really great. Nice work with the suspension so far!

If by Ascot, you mean a paint, mine is arctic blue metallic but sometimes looks like grey, it depends on the light.
PS : Sorry for the photobucket "Bandwith exceeded" icon over the first pics, they gonna be back the 24 of this month as a Christmas present by photobucket? I would have prefered a set of tyres for my 16" BBS splits

It's been a while since my latest update... but I've found a job as a mechanical engineer in a big company in France (PSA : Peugeot - Citroen).
I work on the Mini Cooper S engine which has been created by BMW and PSA in collaboration.
It takes a big part of my time so it was difficult to work on the E21 but I succeeded in putting the 16" BBS splits and to go to the E38 early edition event in England which was a 800 miles trip for me and my GF with the E21.
We encountered (again) some overheating problems, but now due to the head gasket. We finally reached Paris without stopping except to put some cooling fluid again and again (approximately 5L to do 200 miles).
Now, I have disassembled the head to replace the head gasket which should be done by the end of the month and I need to find a solution to make my own coilovers for the front cause I'm pretty high.
Now, some pictures :
Sorry for the open door but my GF wanted to escape from the car as soon as possible with all the problems we encountered...

I really like this! Will be completely amazing once you finally get down to lower the front more.
