Hi shogun!
Finally i'll keep my ca18det, I'll prefer to finish it as i put so many hours, time and money with it...
I was wondering wich exhaust manifold ar you going to use? as i'm looking for a good quality made top mount exhaust manifold and nothing found, just ebay crap, china crap, etc...
Are you planning on making a custom one handmade?
Let me know please
Keep up the good work

The build is absolutely killer. I'm blown away.
I'm genuinely disappointed by the wheel choice after so much time and money has been invested.56' Big Back Glass Chevy

i have mixed feelings about this build. on the one side there are so many quality parts and so much money being thrown at it, and at the same time i also sort of feel like ive just read an 8 page catalog for 200sx parts.
its awesome to see you're doing things yourself though, like the turbo upgrade and all the installation etc. i really hope that the turbo isnt too laggy when you've got it running, because all the big hp ca18det's ive seen have been dyno queens or drag cars. you say you want it to be an 'extreme street racer', and i think you're going to be disappointed with the power delivery and loss of drivability (not to mention chewing through rear tyres). i hope this doesnt come across as being negative, im just surprised that nobody has raised it yet, and as it doesnt look like you've finished your turbo setup, its not too late to 'downgrade' to something that is actually going to make your car awesome to drive (ie something that's going to deliver a responsive 4-500hp, not 700hp that comes in like a kick in the face at 6000rpm).
i really like that you ditched that old front bumper and the ugly rear wing, and i hope that you also change the wheels again. this is not because they're rotas, i just think that widebody s13's look waaaaaay better on dished rims. also, wider rims can take wider rubber, which will let you get more traction to get that '700hp' to the ground. clearly you have a lot of money, so the cost thing doesnt seem to make sense.
lastly, nice work getting the lightweight parts, so many people pump money into big hp and ignore these things that will actually make a big difference to how it goes, stops, and handles. i look forward to your progress.Last edited by 340i; 05-02-2011, 12:27 AM.sigpic
