Can I ask why you're putting a hell of a lot of money into all kinds of parts for your engine(or so it seems to me), just to put a set of rota's on the thing? why not get some legit wheels if you're already pumping so much money into it? would really set the car off I think.

Nothing wrong with these rims. They are strong and lightweight and look good. If I should buy a so called brand rim, I wouldn't get any specific gain in performance and they would cost me 5-times the money, money I'd rather spend on the powertrain and suspension.

Just be prepared to get a lot of flack for those wheels here. Rota steals wheel designs from the companies that actually take the time to design and develop the originals (like volk, for instance) And with this being a stance website centered heavily around styling and wheel fitment, thats what a lot of people are going to concentrate on. After all, wheels make or break the look of the car.

That said, big respect for the work and parts going into the car itself. the engine looks great

Actually a lot of people do. I'm pretty sure someone has said that they're the "German Rota" on here. And XXR, Drag, Rota, etc. all get the same amount of flack here.

Back to the point, I'm pretty sure i've said this before but the build is sick man, hopefully you can figure out a way to swap out those rota's for something much better. keep it up!

Sorry but thats bullshit. People have proven over and over again that Rota make good strong lightwieght wheels. Just because the Us got a bad batch early in Rotas history does not make every wheel the propduce shit.
The only thing hurting the "wheel industry" is companys that insist on charge stupid amounts of money for wheels. A decent size set of Rotas will cost no more than £1k, try and find a set of second hand Volks/Rays for that. You'd be looking at nearly twice the money.
