hows it going i thought i would make my build thread for my 93 240sx coupe:
Got it stock 2yrs ago to start a drift car project and very slowly started work on it. It had a bone stock Ka in it with an auto tranny.
first thing i did was start gathering parts to convert it to manual and started gutting it out, i put a exhaust on it and then i got some cheap ass godspeed coilovers which suck balls for going low and i got some ruca and my wife bout me a shift knob(haha funny one that she picked).then i got some cheap used wheels from a buddy 17x8+30(worst offset and width made for a 240sx),but it made the car look alot better than with the stock steelies. i also got a bodykit,but ***** the way it looked so i just kept the sideskirts and got a pignose lip.
After that i attended a few events and got decent at it,but just got bored with it(having one event a month makes it hard to excel in anything)
Then i started to build my car for more stance and DD,just seems way more gansta. But i do catch alot of shit from the other drift guys telling me to sell it and get a vw if i wanna stance it out because im wasting a good car. Doesnt bother me because there are alot of other people who love and i really dig it. So i bought some Kei Office coilovers(they are slammed so far that my lip pushes down the road :dance: ) And i ordered some Diamond Racing steelies in 16x10+0 in white, and im going to be running some 205/45 tires(just waiting on wheels to ship out) but this is where i am at now,but will keep you guys updated once the wheels get here.(ill get some side shots soon)
Then i stickerbombed my center console and roof and splatter painted my trunk(bout to do the hood in the next few weeks when i find time)
