Took the day off of work to finish my motor refresh. A complete gasket overhaul from Fel-Pro's top of the line series, really nice stuff!! The T-40 broke on me so I could not remove the PS pump or alternator. They will be removed Sunday and replaced with Gilmer drive and a low alternator relocation bracket.

          9AM

6PM - waiting on new oil pan so its not on yet.

going w this intake with matching finned valve covers. Trying to find a place to copper plate them.

          why copper?
well because I have been polishing my stock radiator for hours, I also want to make my rad hoses out of copper piping that is mandrel bend and then polished too!!
          halfway done

might be, but getting things copper plated would look like a penny, getting things brass plated would better match your radiator.

thanks for the tip. but polished copper that is clear coated (a special kind) I thought would look similar.

Little more work on the motor, finally got the right bolt off and removed power steering and alternator. Going with a short water pump, low mount alternator and gilmer drive pulley setup.

shift knob adapter is in, still waiting on 26" shift linkage, and my new dash mounted bottle opener, this was an old heater panel that goes right next to the steering wheel.

                          Keep it up.

                            ordered gauges.
                            These gauges

                            Aviator trim rings

Original dash looks like this (not mine) mine is flat black

but for the gauge cluster I am making a template out of wood, then nail a copper sheet to the board with copper nails
                            Kinda like this
