Yeah the model is a short step side. I think these trucks look best as a short fleet big back window.

Motor is back in. Steering rack is in. New Gilmer drive belt, There is a 2 credit card clearance between the frame the steering input, the alternator, and the steering rack, and header. It is insane how tight it is packed in there.

So I did a bit more yesterday. Everything is finally stripped. Still working on new sheet metal and welding that up, finished the firewall and the master cylinder setup. Made a short walk around video. Ran brake and fuel lines. Monday I am installing the steering shaft and end links, and air bag compressor and switches.

Few more things sorted. Running wires with new harness. Painted grill and bumpers white with matte clear coat, it looks great in person. I tried to get the pics to show the sheen. Fabricator is sick so bed isn't done and new rockers aren't in yet. Putting the accuair in next week and the steering linkage with 3 univeral joints was mocked up today. I will make final installations next week.
