so they wouldn't work on the rear? any link or know anyone specifically I could talk to? I would love to get Stanceworks Zero Clearance for my car.
don't have any idea, i'm guessing its some european racer. they seem to be wayyyy ahead of us when it comes to doing any kind of custom work on the older german cars
I went to my local pick and pull to get a grill but didn't have an extension for my ratchet to get the two bolts that go from inside the hood out to the grill, that pissed me off lol. But i plan on going back and getting it then doing the matte black thing and plugging the hole where the hood ornament sits. What kind of multi spoke wheels did you have in mind?
Why the fuck does that thing have TWO springs in it...
I know most older benz have the shock on the outside and spring on the inside, but why on earth would you put coilovers where the strut is and then keep a spring on the inside? Ride must be so strange...
Just get some nice bilstiens shortened and chop away at the springs and this thing will be sitting nice!
I love W124 coupes!!

I've read that e36 coilovers will work in the front.
I have seen this before, coilovers would be nice but for the kind of money and time I would drop to get them in there it really wouldn't be worth it. Thanks for bringing it up though! I think the first thing that is going to happen is a getrag 5 speed swap, wake this engine up a bit
lol... i even can't understand what you're asking me...khekhe...
can you explain me please...
Right behind the abs unit on the intake side fender well there is a little board with 4 round connectors going into it and in the middle is a little connector with no wires. It should have green writing on it, this is the resistor. If you pull this it will advance your timing 3 degrees. You just have to be sure to use the highest possible octane you can or else your engine will knock/ ping. In that case you just pop the the little resistor in and you will be back to factory specs. By doing this you will feel more pull starting at about 3500 rpm all the way up to 6500. It might also take the ecu a little time to adjust to the advance so if there is hesitation down low while accelerating that is why.
Here is the link explaining it for our coupes since they are so much different than the other w124's
The other day I hit a long s-curved (mild curves, gonna say 35-40 degrees) on ramp to a major highway and pulled through the whole thing varying between 85-95mph. That's with it lowered as is, it was an incredible feeling and I wasn't even pushing it.
Projektzwo, have you considered removing the R16 resistor on your coupe to advance your timing 6 degrees?
lol... i even can't understand what you're asking me...khekhe...
@conski - don't hesitate, you know the look of my car, so im without any pads + 2coils cutted and you know that i'm far away from the stance scene. Do it, right now!
haha okay okay!
