Wondered what happened to that A8. I remember right after that a4 - a8 trade there was all that drama. Loved that A4, it was soo clean

Yea keith is a real good friend of mine..I don't know what happened for sure I try not to get involved in forum drama...something about the trans exploding...I drove the car last right before he sold it and it all felt solid..guess just bad luck, that's the chance you take with used cars I guess..but I loved the a4 it got me into euros and watching it through all its stages was funn

I got it off my buddy Keith..who traded Andre his b5 a4 for it...it's really not a bad car really nice for it's age..I'm just doing some small things to clean it up and make it my own. Next spring it will get resprayed and some other goods but I'm definitely happy with it for now. I will post more pics soon of it. It's been super cold here and I have to change the fuel pump and the central locking pump on it so maybe this weekend I snap some shots and post them

Well I came from building hondas...my last build was a RHD DB8 integra I converted myself and it had big plans until I came upon this car..so I ended up finishing the conversion and shave job then sold it off as a roller...but actually german cars look scary but they are wayyyy more thought out than hondas which makes a lot of things easier and most common sense..hell I'm learning as I go and it's definitely not even close to as bad as I first thought.

I was wondering who bought Andre's old A8.. I'm sure it's not perfect, but looks pretty damn close from where I'm sitting.. solid purchase... wouldn't mind seeing more pics to be honest.

Although german cars are a bit more difficult to work on, at the end of the day its still a car. Germans just have odd ways of packaging things, so to work on one thing you have to remove 3.

You sir make me feel retarded. Is it really as easy as it looks? I went to automotive school and worked on car for 5 years and im still scared as shit to do my timing belt on my 325xi never the less pull the motor out for a rebuild. I have so much respect for you right now it's unbelievable!
