Whats up guys? Many of you may be familiar with this car. It will soon be undergoing many new changes and I started this thread to document my progress. I'm reallly going to miss the cars current look but bigger(hehe) and better things are on their way. Hope everyone has enjoyed the car and will continue to enjoy it in the future. Had a buddy, Dan Crosley do a nice shoot of my car a while ago. Here's how it came out:

Here are a few more shots of a recent show we attended here in CT. Dubs In The Trees 5. Big turn out and a few really sweet non-vag cars. I ended up winning best Non-Euro

Lost the roof rack and front tow hook. It cleaned up the car a lot. Def like this better. The rack was pointless since I stopped riding and it wasn't being used at all.

Wheel update!

So I ended up getting these wheels. They are 17x9 5x114.3 et+24 O.Z. Furura's. 6.5 inch barrels with 2 inch lips and a sandwiched face. Obviously the bolt pattern on my car is not 5x114.3 so, I will be running a set of 25mm adapters from the homies at Adaptec for an effective offset of -1. More plans on the wheels will come later. I don't believe in teasers since I find them very annoying, so here they are, straight up.










I have also started to do some work on the lips. When I got them they were O.K. but, nothing close to what I wanted. Since I do polishing and having been doing many side jobs recently, this just simply would not work for me. Before:



And here is one of the lip after a quick polish job in one spot. I need to get an arbor extension for my buffer so I can get onto the bolt mating surfaces better. After:



Next step will be to pull off my H&R spacers and extended studs and replace them with some OEM Subaru studs that will work with the bolt-on adapters. That will be the next up date. Stay tuned, for more is to come!

THIS IS NOT A TEST FIT!

Was a little bored today so decided to do a little test fit with the wheels. The effective et was -21 LOL. One 15mm H&R spacer and a 30mm H&R spacer stacked on top. Since the wheels are 5x114.3 and not 5x100 I had to stack the spacers to clear the extended studs. I then just let the wheel sit on the hub ring. The reason for this was to see if the wheels will clear the brakes, which they will. Ideally the wheels will stick out 20mm less with a -1 effective offset. With the stretch and camber I'm planning it should work out flawlessly.

Also got the studs and new fender liners in today. Will put the liners on for winter and cut them up when I put the coils and wheels back on after winter since next year the car will no longer be my daily. I've got a funny idea that everyone will **** for my fake ass RE30 winter wheels. Winter mode and lolz update coming soon.

5zigens and a H&R 15mm spacers with extended studs will be for sale soon. Buy them!

Another quick update that I can't believe I forgot about. On the way back from getting the wheels, there are some plates on the Tappan Zee bridge that claimmed my whole exhaust system. They stick out about 3 inches from the ground. Unbelievable. Check the pics.



Hugh gash in the cat and the flanges are completely fucked.



Then its all fixed. Quick patch job by my buddy Nick and I.



Oh, and just a quick shot of the frame after the trip. Not too bad.

Started getting some of the crazy pits out of the wheels. One of my boys owns and polishing shop and hooked me up with some industrial grade compound and wheels. Shit is fire. Update pics tmrw.
