  • Montreal e36 de-evolution

ok after owning the car for a year and going through the "ebay-ricer" stage and blowing a HG my car finally started to look nice.
    Here are some blurry pics

Here's "frosty at a bimmer meat<---that's what they'd call them since meets were banned

after one of my "crazy" drift nights I burned all the rubber off of my 18's and had to buy some 16's for $200.....you couldn't even tell my car was dropped

Here was the H&R sport drop all around

then I tinted my car after I graduated college and took some pics at the lowes parking lot (came out way better w/a tripod)

Then Got a Job (Back in dallas) and picked up some wheels after destroying one of the st-2's due to a pothole in the lovely dallas roads and later recovered my first bmw love (in the background) my e30 eta

took some pics of the freezing ice over the bmw style 192's

Then I got my wheel fixed and ran over a smurf

Got sick of the smurf wheels and installed the style 135's from my zhp

Then after lots of calculations and money I was able to mount the Gottie's

Got bored and mounted the ck's for the winter

made a couple of trips to el-paso on these

one last shot before I shipped them out

by the time I shipped them out I had style 19's on

    <--mom

Threw these on for a while, then when I shipped them 2 mysteriously dissapeared, and I had to eat it

When the wheels were beige (never really got good pics of this set up)

    Gutta set up

    Got bumper done (bad decision)

    and went drifting

Mounted the salad shooters, 195/50/16 on 9.5 inches all around

sold the vette wheels and rolled on the supa gutta look

teaser of what I'm rolling on

    Volk Evo III

    11/5/2011
Mounted the volks but the centercaps came out too thick, so I need to sand them down to get them on.....here they are capless

    With Caps

    2/28/11
sold the volks and now rocking the kinesis k27's.....better pics to come

are you referring to rolling diameter, or stiffness, or handling?

That looks awesome. The set after them was the best.
Great car. I even like the stickerbombed bumper.

Comfort; completely your opinion. feel free to take the discussion which ever way. I'm content with my 'own' current wheel size but, I'm interested in what you have to say.

I liked the salad shooters and Gotti's most. But it should look great with the Volks, I can't wait to see.

I really liked how the car felt on the 18" ck's the car felt very solid and comfortable.......there are also other factors, I've noticed tire pressure plays a huge role and the type of tire....., now as far as tires go I loooooove yokohoma s-drives, they lasted me a good 3 months (most only last me a month) but bear in mind my car is a daily drifter, I probably shouldn't be doing it on the streets etc. but thats another story, Now I had the s-drives on the gotti's were 17's even after enduring my drifting habits the tires still gripped HARD, even when I was beyond chords and wires, it was the strangest thing.

with all this said OE BMW wheels are great, and solid and very hard to accidently bend, and to me the best choice is BBS a lot of other manufacturers don't hold themselves to the quality that BBS does. As far as reps go, your better off refinishing some vintage wheels than even going near them. reps bend and crack real easily so stay away from them

                              Wheel whore.

I am jealous of... almost all of your wheels.
Also, getting rid of those 3 piece style 5's and not including pictures of them on the car = maaaajor fail.

Style 19's made up for it, though.
