awesome lip. love the older yotaOriginally posted by M.BurroughsI'd have to say this site was founded on building the cars we wanted to build, despite if the rest of the car community liked it or not. This site was founded on freedom of automotive self expression and the passion that goes in to each and every build... This site is about doing what you like, whatever makes you happy, and not caring about what other people think...

ive been thinking about doing 16x8-9 matte black steelies for my cressy
This will give it just a poke in the rear, and the front you can do the 16x8 -9
Maybe even a 16x8.5 -9 would poke out beautifully.

Well, started working on ONE fender, lol
Didnt come to mind to take more pics, but pretty much all I did was dremel off the existing tabs then continued to bang and pull the fender with my fender hammer kit (dolly kit).
Sanded the paint down, that way i could see how the metal was forming.
Still not done with it, the arch itself needs to be smoothed out and measured correctly, a little bit of bondo to make it look super smooth, and some paint.
As of right now, no final touches have been done to the fenders
Here are the only pics i took haha.
Started off pretty rough, but in the end it looked pretty damn good without bondo
Let me know what you guys think, or even have any advice for me.
Thanks

Well, my brother decided i needed some encouragement to finish up these fenders, so he actually started sanding and prepping up one of the rear fenders as my xmas gift, lol. what a great brother right?? After he started, i pretty much joined in and did some work too. after about a couple hours, we had to stop cuz the rain started!!! Either way, this is almost the final look of the fenders. Still needs a TINY bit of bondo to fill in the gaps that the rain did, and then one last sanding, then some rattle can spray to keep her nice.
This is the end result of just the couple hours we had with her.
Let me know how you guys like it, but i just want you to keep in mind that they are NOT done lol.
Just have to finish up the passenger front now, and fenders fit the wheels perfect, haha
