not much new happening lately, mostly just maintenance, been working on some headlight mods, some new carbon bits but my big project has been a refresh on the bbs rf

fronts stayed the same bar swapping out to gold bolts, and rears ive upsized to 18x11. i may change the fronts to a 2.5" lip next year depending on how fitment is with the felony fenders. main thing is i dont want to rub, seeing i cant just unbolt them and swap out

rears ive decided on 295/30r18 tyres, fronts im torn between 235/40 and 245/40. i want as little stretch as possible, but i want to keep the profile height as close to the rears as possible(without going taller rears)

    anyway, couple pics

and since i cant find my wheel spanner(i still have heaps of boxes in the garage unpacked from the move), i 3d printed one

not done a great deal to the car lately, cruise control is working nicely, been using it every day to and from work

yesterday i did an oil change, and finally changed the power steering line setup, forgot to take pics though!! just took out the pointless loop that goes along the steering rack, and went straight to the rack with a banjo fitting.

also installed the rad shroud, which i need to add some holes and clips along the front, due to the shitty aftermarket nose panel not fitting nicely

finishes off the engine bay though, just needs some more cleaning and new plastics oneday

doing some work to my headlights when other things turn up, but ive 3d printed some adapters to replace the stock twisty plugs with deutsch connectors. the stock plugs are breaking at the wires, and collect moisture rather easily, causing some corrosion.

driving this thing everyday im already picking up stone chips and such, but its such a blast to drive.

this will be probably the last picture/update for a while, as in a bit over a weeks time i'll be moving upto queensland, so will be spending time focussing on settling in at a new town/job/everything.

i'll be loading the car up with the essentials and driving up, and i'll truck all my other stuff up once ive sorted a house of my own.

What strut brace is that? Looks nice.
its the rallyroad strut bar http://rallyroad.net/content/rally-r...trut-tower-bar

its similar to the oem motorsport bar, which i wanted but theyre few and far between and tend to be silly dollars. the rallyroad one is pricey but so nice

slowly getting all the trims and bits and pieces sorted on this. still lots to do, ill never be fully satisfied lol

interior is pretty much back together, missing a couple plastic bits ill have to scrounge next wreckers run or next order.

finally installed the clips for the rear sunvisor. still need to clean the insides of all the vents, and get new front seatbelts oneday, theyre getting a bit tatty

weighed the car at work, bit more level surface, still not exact though, need to set up laser levels

44l fuel, full interior, stereo, etc. bodykit, foler stainless mid exhaust and supersprint rear. not bad considering i havent done any active weight reduction

not sue if front left weight is because not level or something else

3d printed some covers for the nuts on the strut brace using TPU, awesome stuff!! ill see how it goes with one cover seeing sunlight. they take 20mins to print, so not a problem if they dont last

still need to do more cleaning and wiping bogdust out of the engine bay, stuff gets everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!

got factory cruise installed using a 328 cable, so i could hide it instead of it draping over the strut tower like stock. works well, but is a bit agressive on the decel, which ill assume is because of the itb's

and had my workmate give it a quick polish and wax for me

the colour is amazing, but so hard to get nice photos of. needs just the right light
