so i had some time to play with the car during work today, so i tackled the amplifiers.

the bracket i made up when i put them in was rushed, and i never liked it, so today i worked out another mounting setup. i'll see how it goes before i neaten up the wiring some more.

this thing did an awesome job, finally popped the axles free, then the hubs and bearings hammered out once the circlip was out. just have to replace the pissy piece of steel they call a handle, it bent like spaghetti

need to give the trailing arms a bit more of a clean and pull the rest of the bushes/ball joints

been considering a bigger whiteline rear swaybar, and since e36s have a habit of tearing or bending the swaybar mounts, i welded in some reinforcements. you can buy kits for them, but i cant see why mine wont work just fine.(only one way to find out :p)

tomorrow will be putting new bushes in the subframe and arms.

so while dad started removing old bushes from the subframe

i went and purchased supplies, in the guise of a big fuck off axle/balancer/whatever puller, so i can get these hubs and axles out of the trailing arms for new bearings

was going to sandblast the arms and subframe, but its really not worth it, so theyre just getting a clean up and hit with a bit of black paint before the new bushes go in

received a box of bits today, pretty much all the stuff to redo the rear suspension and diff. need to get some bushes pressed out, so i can blast and paint the rear arms and subframe, then put new bushes in.

and i picked up a spare shifter arm, so i can fit the UUC short shifter ive had sitting in the cupboard properly. the screws they provide to hold the sleeve in tend to break, because theyre small and only hold on one side of the hole.

i picked it up off ebay, theres a few places selling them. i quite liked it aswell, but took the accident as an opportunity to go the high rise wing.

    Loving it! So perfect.
Just a question though, I was just wondering where abouts you got the csl style spoiler from? As possibly in the near future I might get one, because I quite like the look of it.. The new spoiler looks great too!

so while lowering the back a bit tonight after work, i noticed the rear tyres are fair worn, so its time to get these new wheels and tyres on.

theyre not going to be perfect(much like the car), but itll be fresh tread. and im still not 100% sure on the white, so if i dont like it, i'll change the colour

255 beside 10" wheel, might not be as meaty as the bbs, but shouldnt have any stretch
