only the base model gets the beam, the gli gets the irs...they did everything they could to make that jetta as cheap as possible

Yeah it's is a Pan hard beam. Different from the mk4 but still awesome. It's stiffer than the mk4 and lighter than the mk5 and you won't have camberwear issues

The rears suck with the rear beam


as low as she'll go for photos until 1552 does work. They're working on a kit for the mk6 rear. In the meantime I plan to swap out my re5's for bagyards off the tiguan
