  • Stockholm 328 E36 BBS Style 19

Finally I registered my a** in here, like the site already! My name is Andro and I´ve had my E36 Coupé for a half year now and modified it a little summer 2010.

This was the look this year:

Rims BBS LeMans replica 9x18´s in back and 8x18´s in front, FK/AK Coilovers dropped to bottom

The lip was living a dangerous life tho swedens roads are a pain for low cars, until the day it got stuck and the lip got overrunned by myself after a roadbump

Tight is the only way to go

    Rat gone wild

Liked the stance and appearance with these rims

    The office!

    Splash

I work as a car-detailer so tip top finish was the only right thing on the ride

For summer 2011 I´ve started to restore the car to original, tho I´m gonna go for a more clean and refined original look.

A friend of mine called me a few days ago and told me he had bough a BMW 540 E34, and said he had "Some ugly a** original split rims in 17´s", and asked if I wanted to trade them for my BBS replicas.

When he arrived to my work I did se something that made me jump high up in the skyes:

BBS Style 19´s!!! 17x8 in front and 17x9 in back, with 225/45/17 resp. 255/45/17

Lets try my dreamrims on my E36 and study the fitment

The fitment in the front pair was nearly perfect, but 205´s would be better, so the stretch can make it possible to drop it a little bit more.

The back pair was more difficult, looks cool, but the car is actually standing ON the tires, so everybody...255´s does NOT fit on a E36 225´s are ordered

Think this will look great with new tires, a little lower and a polished lip and white center on the rims

What I have done on the car after I decided to restore it to original is:

    Windowtinting removed
Frontlip gone in change for a M3 original lip
Car is now a little higher

Today it looks like this, and will be standing on this 17´s M-rims over winter:

Dont mind about the missing lamp, it flew off when speeding at 180kmh

Thanks for this time and for a great site.

Will update the thread on monday, after the proffessional installed windowtinting, lightest smoke tinting on all the windows exept the windshield!

JonathanDinh: Thanks alot, glad you like it The trunk addon is made by Schmiedmann.se and fitment is a 90%

Vegas13: Cool that it inspires you the splatter was a little different yes, ppl wonders if im crazy for real...

JasperThomas: Yes its a good deal, but the finish is a little bit worse than my LM-replicas...

Monday is now close for some tinting, then I´ll send the hood for carbon-fibre-loove!

Nice work so far, man. I like the style 19s much more than the reps that were on there before.

I don't think paint splatters are creative in any way, unless your pollack.

m52tu? full mtech kit is nice, the black nose plate looked good too.

what is the wing btw? a CSL rep? I'm not familiar.

EThirtySicks: Yes, they look classic and modern at the same time

BOXER83: Thanks man! Glad you like it!

nykwhy: Actually my friend who did the splatter is pollack The wing is a CSL-replica from schmiedmann.se.

                      cabezzz: Yeah, they are porn

PAK-Racing: Thanks for the engine-cred! Im considering taking the wing off, tho its not an original part... so maybe for the next update a e46 lip is installed

Today the car was parked in my job for winter-modifications, so I did a BIG cleanup, so in May, just take it out and enjoy

I´ll let pictures speak for itself and i´ll try to explain as good as I can with my shitty english

Engine and everything around washed and then dressed with Lahega silicon vinyl-dressing, here it still not dryed.

Exterior, inside of doors (?) washed, the detailing has not started yet

Before-pics of the shitty interior :

                      Clean me please!!

A candle and a walkie!? Found alot of interesting things in here ....

                      No comments...!

Interior after a few hours, leather impregnation and the same with the textile:

                      Much better

Rims before detailing (washed with degreaser and schampoo and still not clean):

                      uuuh!

                      Nasty!

Result after some magic with a petrol-based cleaner:

If its gonna be cleaned, its needs to be cleaned well:

                      Tire before restorer:

                      50/50

                      Masked

                      Black & BLACK

The result of the day, windows were also cleaned:

                      Ready for some winterlove

Bye bye car, I´ll drive you again on spring

Cya on monday Stanceworkers, with more funny things on the car

                      Peace out from Stockholm!

LOVE the engine bay! And if I'm seeing correctly you've got red paint splatters in the wheel wells too? Awesome.

Style 19s will be awesome, but you write you're going with 225s for the rear... Should've went with 215/40 instead. Best size for those 9x17s, esp. in combination with 205/40 for the 8x17s up front.

Dr.AK: Yep the splatter inside the wheel walls was an accident, I ran over the paint can i painted the engine-room with

                              Mexican: Thanks mate

Holminen: Yes I do remember you, cool to find you in here, I really love your Jetta, still got it?

Okey everyone, I´ll start with mondays result on the windowtinting, it´s darker on picture, is much lighter, but you see the results anyway

                              A little gangster-look ?

Like I said, its a little lighter IRL.. sh*tty celly-cam

What do you guys say about black-painted roof to follow the line?

The panel under the passanger airbag got some alcantara-love, next is the shift and handbrake-(cap?) in alcantara?

I decided to keep my old LM-replicas tho the owner of the Style 19´s wanted to sell them. So i went to nearest build-store and bought paintremover and started to assault the rims

Masked a little to apply the remover without damaging the center..

                              Bubbly bubbly

Mom´s butterknife (plastic ofcourse) and started to scrape the paint off, a few hours later it looked something like this, much left, a little more paintstripper and Autosol...

                              Budget-rims goes transformation bigtime..

                              "only" three rims left...

                              Sneakpeak:

Hope they look good on the car (will try one rim when its 100% done)

Before I left work today i remover the grills and sanded them, to get some color-care, found some matte-black spray, pics tomorrow:

                              Thanks for watching

                              Peace out y´all!
