Thanx guys.
I knew the car wouldn't be for everyone. I literally could not be happier. It sits how I wanted it to. With arch sitting between tyre and rim. It drives solid and for how low and stretched it is, I drove it real hard home from players.
The arches needed a bit of attention since I didn't look after them when I first rolled them last winter, but the 125 mile trip this weekend where they were constantly smashing themselves into the lips of the RSs. That's what fucked them up. Lol. Will get sorted tho.
The red caps really work I think plus they are obsolete now, but also got the black and gold ones. So can choose from those 2 rare and obsolete caps.
I'm away from home for the week but will shoot it properly at the weekend and maybe do a quick vid. As u know coverage of the car as it is now isnt the greatest.

Want want want want want. Have you bumpstopped the rear yet? I know it was rubbing at the back but I just don't know how you run with so little arch gap. Need to get the front left a few mm lower and then it'll be golden
P.s I love the red caps, they tie in with the rear lights and just look cool in general!
So here are a couple of shots from last week after the players show on monday morning. I wanted to document how the car looked and sat like for players as my battery died after like 4 shots at the show! lol
Saturday night before players, my friend James came to help me out get the wheels on, RSs were on by the time it was dark, so trial run was in the dark, the night before players, so it was all very last minute.
goin to the show then was a bit of a gamble, and hving to carry a mk3 gti wheel with tyre for some1 at the show, and 3 people in the car with these clearances, well.. it was goin to happen, wasnt it? lol
so aches took a couple of hits, but mainly it was the tyres which took the brunt of it. ha ha Arches looked horrible at the show, but considering the roads were horrible for alot of the journey and the lips and arches hit a few times, i was expecting to have bent arches.
Nothing a sand down and respray wont fix.
By the way, this is what i brought back from players for the spare room and all the gaming requirements!
Overall, i am so pleased how the car sits, tracking needs doing so front sits a tad better as i worked out the odd toe and camber upfront is what is making it sit wonky.
