@ Mad Max
If I would add some bumpstops for the TÜV, it would be legal, I know someone who doesn't care about how much space to the ground is left, he just doesn't want to see any tires rubbing.
Got to rise the front 2,5cm and it would be legal again.
@ Topic
My car's currently in Wintermode, but I couldn't help it and hat to drop it as much as I could after I changed the old 205/50R15 tires to the current 195/50R15 winter tires...
If it ain't rubbin, you ain't dubbin!
Wintermode:- 15x6,5J VW Speedline rims, Purewhite varnished
- 195/50R15 Barum Polaris 2 (cheap & eager)
- 15mm Spacers FA/RA
- CL-Frontlip (Much better for moving snow)
....still need to drop it 0,5-1cm till I'm happy thoughLast edited by Shepherd; 10-24-2012, 07:36 PM.

Okay folks, here's another update for those who care.
a pic of the engine at 303500Km
Then my luck kicked back in...
A VW LT just hit me when I wanted to pass a green traffic light...it wasn't my fault, so my surveyor had some work again and got quite some money for me from the opponents insurance
The last two weeks I had vacation, spending most of my time to get the car ready for the next season, starting on Carfriday (Good Friday).
With the money from the accident, I was able to get my whole front repainted (it had a very rushed, bad garage paintjob since the first accidents for a couple of good reasons).
While I worked on the front I had some spare parts mounted
Then I finally got the parts from my paintshop back.
Bad news first, they did a sucky job, especially on the hood.
Good news is that it still looks quite okay as long as you don't look too close. of course I'll get it redone at some point, but it's okay for now.
First thing I did when I had everything back in place:
And that's how it looks so far:
A little different version of the pic above and a shot from yesterday night

@ DrAk
Yeahyeah... but you now, better looking car means higher prices!
@ EtotheT, Salty J
Thanks guys!
@ P78
Thanks, dude!
It's already at 310200 or so now and running and running and running...
@ MikeG
Thanks to you, too!
Vogtland makes coils and they ride pretty good actually, running them for over 30000Km now and they still look good, don't leak and ride pretty comfy (for that amount of drop) at all. They work very well on the Northloop too.
