  • W210 E320 build......

HI guys, I'm Josh and I live in Australia (Gold Coast), and this is my E320 I bought a few months ago...

pretty standard at the moment, though have bought some 18x8 and 18x10 Altstadt 3-piece wheels and I'm in the process of repairing them.

Also looking to have it dropped asap, still trying to find fkn suspension to suit. No one seems do go lower than 40mm on these cars... I am looking for around 65-70mm drop.

    Anyway here are some pics.

Wheels - you can see the one on the left where I have sanded back the chrome, leaving the face of the wheel like a rough sanded finish. I actually like this look, so I'm going to leave them like this for the time being. Hope they look alright.

Its a slow work in progress, as me and the Mrs just got married a few months ago too, so the bank account is still trying to recover!

    cheers.

    Josh

LOL well it wasn't my initial intention.

I intend to have the face painted to match the colour of the car, but for the mean time, I will just leave them like that. I think it looks ok, something different like a rough sort of look which shows a bit of the copper coating too, not sure how it will actually look once on the car, but time will tell..

If it looks shite, then I'll get them painted asap.

I suggest at least taking the wheels apart when sanding them, to ensure you get the blemishes around the bolts too, or they will look like you've just have them sitting in your back yard for years.

Looking forward to seeing more of this though.

                    Ok, wheels are now on.

Picked up some 235/40/18 Front and 245/40/18 Rears today for a bargain.

Fronts are Bridgstone Potenza Adrenalin's with around 80%

Rears are Michelin's with around 80%.

Picked up the lot for only $240.

                    Anyway, here are some pics...

Looks so much nicer now. Still needs the centre's painted though I think.

Nice 210 Josh. KW makes a coilover that'll slam it for you. Or just cut your oem coils

                            KW hey ??

So the D2 and KSport are no good?

I'm not too keen on cutting the springs if I can avoid it... I don't have the compressor too in any case to probably not worth the effort.

Might have to have another look into the KW's.... they are pretty pricey though aren't they?

Anyway, no real progress on the car lately, been flat out with work etc.

Have done a quick chop to get an idea of the look I'm going for....

                            Thoughts??

will look perfect after some major drop and better fitment, i mean spacers + stretched tires
