yea, ill probably go at it more once i get something done on the 240 lol but thanks for the support in that direction. i feel my self more distant from here everyday
Recently read through this and honestly there's something more real about builds that people take up with an idea and limited money. Compared with a lot of builds on vwvortex even mine pales in comparison but the moment you start building your car according to others peoples suggestions or expectations you might as well throw in the towel. You're in it for yourself and if it doesn't work the first time that experience will just carry over to the next one.
Looking forward to seeing more updates of this and the 240 since originally I wanted a 240 but I don't have the space for it.
well thanks man, i was brought up on rat rods, and budget builds etc. and thats how i do everything.
the reason i removed my rack was because i broke the slats when i stood on the (220lbs on a good day)
But i am getting tired of people saying "i love/**** how you ratted out your E30"
but the truth is i didnt "rat it out" i started with a not so celan car, adn went with it. and played off of it, i didnt purposely maek it dirty or faded or rusty etc. If it has a rat look, thats cool, but i dont feel like i diminished the value of my car in anyway. im just doin what i like.
i'm honored you regard this build that way tho dude.
i have to disagree. i get people saying the same shit all the time. rat rod this and rustomod that. some people arent fortunate enough to beable to strip our cars completely and send them off to get restored. so we make due and make one hell of a unique vehicle.
trust me, i bet im not the only one who would love to have a pristine car, but sometimes its just not in the cards.

UPDATE
Don (JDMdon) came over last night and rolled my fenders with and east wood rooller. i am definitly happy with them over the ball bat roll i had previously done.
I'd like to see your bozo pipes extend even further under the rear. I think it would look a lot more gnarly if the large pipe diameter continued until you could see it enter the muffler
