  • Build of my slammed MK1 from France...(56k go away)

Hi everybody,(First of all, I apologize for my English 'cause I'm French)

    The car is a ****ty 4-door, non-GTI and with big taillights. That's why I called this project "U **** 2 luv'it"
I bought it as a wrecked car with the front end to replace, the hood plus some little parts but the car was in good shape. No rust and it had been painted two years ago.

I will stop talking and post some pics cause I know U are pic whores :
When I bought it back in Sept '09

I tried some BBS RMs from a friend

Then, time to do the hard work

    With filler

I bought some brand new Ronal LS in 7,5x15 ET 25 with Nankangs 165/45/15

I modified the coilovers to be able to get really low

Then, it was time to adjust the Stance

    3-wheelin' style

Some random pics taken by some guys at a French GTG

After 600kms (less than 400 miles) I broke my oilpan so I made a reinforced one and put some 15mm spacers in the rear to see the wheels poke a little more

                  Thanks guys

Then I made the front end of the car painted and it was time to stance it a lil' bit more with some 15mm spacers in the rear

And, as Ollycarbs said, the car is sold now but for a good reason!

I like to work on cars (maybe too much) and so after the golf was finished, I was tempted to buy another car to begin another project, so maybe you will find out what car it is (look at my sig')
