C5 A6 4.2 6spd conversion

picked this up last week in georgia. car is super clean. 2000 A6 4.2Q. immediate plans are wheels,coils,exhaust and other ext things and then s/c or rs6 turbo set up before spring. well and obviously the 6spd conversion. i found a A6 2.7t with a 6spd local so i bought that as well and it was delivered today. waiting for my flywheel and clutch to get here. pics of the car before i get started. these are current pics. coils will go on soon as the weather is better.

they dont. the v8 is automatic only except for the euro spec S8 iirc

yes i bought 2 lol ironically i paid more for the one with stab holes . anyway parts car is stripped. southbend clutch ships out tomorrow. braided lines, all new seals that i can get to now and cv boots are being replaced along with the steering rack. ordered some 19x10 carlssons. still need coils. nothing but parts in piles so no pics.

I was thinking the same thing!

Poor 2.7T. I would have taken the clean body panels off the 4.2 and built the 2.7, but the end result here could be way sicker. Must have been an exciting week picking up two cars though!

ive already did a stg3 2.7 so it was time for something different. i think the supercharger/6spd could be fun tho
