How do you even make a new thread.

To fight spambots, we implemented a new user group yesterday for "confirmed users" and a promotion that moves users from the "registered user" group.
What this means is that when a new user activates his/her account, they can't create a thread until their post count is > 5.
This means we should see a lot less spam threads created.

So, our apologies for the inconvenience. But looking at your current post count, you should be able to create one now.

Similar newbie question, but how can I post a new thread? I would like to post a new thread on the for sale section, but on the bottom on the screen it says I "cannot post new threads" for some reason. Please help a newbie out, Thanks guys!

I appreciate your reply. The link you gave me says page not found, and isn't there anymore. Ive been a member for about a week 1/2 already. Is there a way to activate enabling new posts? Because it says on the bottom right hand of the screen under posting permission, that I "may not post new threads".
