I'd make sure the first oil change was done correctly to the service interval due to the fact it may have some kind of break in oil from the factory. After that its personal. Will be happy to look up service intervals for you if ya want. I do my mercedes and bimmers every 5k with conventional and very 6500 with synthetic. The condition based service interval of 15k is retarded.
