hey guys if the car im looking at is in say virginia/DC and it has no tags. how do i get it down here? do i have to hit up the DMV there or here in GA to get temp plates for the damned thing?

You can probably get away with just a bill of sale, no need for a temp tag

yea fuck that lol. so good news. i DID get the job at kauffman. i need a car like NOW. anyone selling something cheap that can get me from point A to point B? im dead broke and am literally just starting this job. right now its 3 working adults in the fam with ONE fucking car. oh JOY. might be selling/trading some tools to make this shit happen (as much as it pains me). or maybe willing to lend me a car foew few weeks? (fat chance i know. this is the internet after all lols)

Try to find the just-purchased registration laws in the states you drive through. I know in GA you have 7 days that you can drive on a bill of sale before you have to get it registered, but the car has to be on your insurance. I don't know how other states are with those laws.
