  • My Daily Driven MK4 Golf

I thought id upload a few photo's of my daily car. Not sure if this is the right section tho.
It's 1.8T GTi 12 years old and just coverd over 155k.

Ive slowly been transforming it over the last 9 mths.

This is what she was like when i brought it.

After a month or so i did a few mods, twin indicator set up, and black grill.

Then decided to plastic weld and smooth the front bump strip, adding the U.S side markers and also welding the badge recess on the bonnet and adding de-badged grill

    Heres a few pics.

After the bumper and bonnet resprayed..

Then made my own U.S rear bumper recess..

    Couple of interior shots..

Recently brought some Rota grids, 9.5 x 18 all round. with 20mm spacers and slightly streched tyres..

That's it at the moment, next plans are to either go for full respray in Imola yellow, or start upgrading the engine a little bit.

    All comments welcome, cheers Dave.

Good bodywork skills! I wouldn't repaint if i'm honest, especially if you've spent money getting the bumpers and bits done already.

Get it lower and faster I say

Cheers mate, im not going to have it resprayed now, just going to have a few age related dents and chips taken out and just going to keep it silver, just so many silver mk4's tho.
working on a bit more bhp at the moment, cant go any lower as for the area i live in, thought about air, but not sure i want to go that route at the moment.
