    hello all you uk stancers!

this is my story from start to finish....

right basically the story starts like this, in 2010 i bought this bmw 320i e36 convertible in montrel blue after selling my silvia drift car as i fancied a change from refueling constantly and spending endless amounts of money on tyres!

this is how he looked when i got him home.... i added some angel eyes, original m3 mirrors and some 10k hids by this point...

so after cruising round and using it for a few months, i finally got bored of how he looked and decided it was time to start some modifications...

so i purchased a hardtop, a gt front lip, some brand new 19inch csl alloys, full coilover suspension setup, and having a mate who owns a bodyshop booked it in and asked him to do a few other bits and bobs. so after him having it for a week she finally returned home and after a good cleaned he looked like this.....

so thats how he ended up, then eventully the splitter got ripped to shreads so that got binned, then after a while i got fed up of not being able to take a full car due to rear wheels scraping on the archs so i had to come to a hard decision and think what should i do next....

then eventully after looking at e36 cabrios all over google i ended up falling in love with the low and wide look!

so after searching and saving i eventully stumbled across these beautys and decided the where for me already colour coded centres and all fully refurbed...

then after getting some rubber to wrap around them and lowering my coilover he eventully sat like this!

and then just after about 5 months of owning him looking like this i got offered another nissan silvia for a straight swap with the bmw..

and after a few days of thinking i eventully swapped the car stupidly but come on would you of said no to a dish like this....

so after owning the silvia for a while i eventully sold it, and since then have owned a number of different vehicles....

range rover v8. golf gti mk4. subaru impreza wrx.

but nothing was the same as the bmw and i missed him soo much............

but a few weeks back i got a phone call off the lad i swapped it too saying he had been banned from driving about a week after he got the bmw off me and it was just sitting there.

sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooo I GOT HIM BACK!!!!!!!!!

obviously hes in need of abit of tidying up, few little rust spots in the usual places but its all to come....

this is the most recent pic of him

    future plans are...

    black m3 vader front seats.
    carbon front lip.
m3 top camber mounts to lower him more at the front.
    new steering wheel
and a general body tidy up.....

i hope youve all enjoyed reading the thread and i hope too see you all soon at future shows.

Nice motor! Was abit optimistic at the start but im glad you saw the light and got it low

If you're planning to go lower, which you should, then I wouldnt bother with a carbon splitter as its just going to be smashed to pieces so Id just get a normal m-tech one.

Welcome and hope to see you at some meets this year.

thanks guy for a warm welcome. and nice comments.

yer after having a think and some advice i may get rid of the cf lip idea because ill cry if i broke it.

if im going to go low on the front do i need to run camber adjustments on the front. or is it advised too. to stop tyres catching archs.

            any advice would be nice...

and if you can think of anything else i could doo would be a help...
