Some other dude arrived 5 mins after me, and offered him £1,450 cash So I didn't get it.

I actually wasn't even going to see it, but I did an insurance check just for a laugh and it came out with £800. For a 19 year old

Needs about £5-600 worth of body work. Then there's tax next month at about £200...so it would have been getting close to too much. But man, it was nice.

Yeah, you can just about make out a dent/scrape on the rear arch. It was pretty clean, but just needed a good tidy up, a few small rust spots. Engine sounded beautiful, pulled really well, for a 130K car. Interior was the M-Sport one with half leather seats, which had a small hole in the passenger side.

He'd spent over £700 on new suspension - springs, struts, drop links, ball joints, gators etc

Well, crap. No E34 yet.

Didn't pass the TÜV today, even with the new O2 sensor.

So, it's taking even longer.

But for the same price, I'm now getting an E34 with a replaced cat as well.

Getting it TÜVed this week, without hassle, as my local TÜV place is a bit more open minded
