Fucking annoyance after annoyance.

Press in top mount studs. Go to fit, come loose.

No bolt head. Can't tighten. Thats okay, do the fronts by bolting top mounts first. Rears have like 1 inch of clearance above. So one side has the strut attached with top mount and 1 bolt holding it, other two are loose. Other has the top mount and I've attempted to fit the strut to it. Failing badly due to massive lack of view of it.

Okay, ignore that, carry on elsewhere. No clamp to open the brake caliper up and refit. Drill holes for the rear strut airlines. Going well, the right size and that, find out its 5mm too high. Fucking cunt.

It is SO fucking close now its getting me wound up. The worst thing is having to do it on my own.

But I can't see today going well. Having to take my rat to the vet this morning and I think it will be a case of having him put down. Poor thing.

Cant you tack the studs in place on the top mounts so they dont budge?

That is a very good idea.

If the studs are zinc plated/anodised or whatever then just grind them a tad so they weld to the plate. Simples

One side is about done. Except the fucking braided hose has to twist to be installed. One step forward. Two steps back.

Sort out twisting hose. Air leak from one end. Grrrrr.
