Thoroughly, thoroughly cheesed off at the moment.

Had arranged to buy a mercedes SLC from a woman in Margate on friday. We've been in conversation about it for almost a week and had arranged a price back on sunday. I managed to get a day off work at short notice by begging my boss, booked a train ticket (one way) and sorted all the insurance and bank stuff ready to be put into action on friday.
Then today I phone her to let her know what time the train arrives and she says someone else has just contacted her about it. I tell her to contact me when she knows what his plans are (what he's willing to pay).
A couple of hours later I get a text saying she accepted the other offer and has taken a deposit. WHORE. Didn't give me the chance to at least match the offer.

I've been waiting for the a decent SLC to come up at the right price for about 3 months now and for her to mug me off like that just for a couple of hundred more (which i would have probably paid if she hadn't just agreed on my opening price) pisses me right off.
