Ive never heard of anyone in the UK getting there car impounded from there mods. Well, no one I know of anyway. Only thing Ive heard of is getting it re MOT'd so its safe for the roads.

My mate Josh got his Polo taken from him because it was "too low, too stiff and too wide." He had to pay a fine and did a driving course instead of 3 points. The chance of it happening is pretty low though..
