im back guys,

moved outta the rented house with the mrs to move back in with parents for a few months to save for new place. this also means i can focus attention back onto the beemer which is currently sitting in the warehouse with 2x bent wheels after kurb contact few months back, rolled her out to clean and now im looking for alloy to get ther back on road.

£500/600 to spend on wheels atm any suggestions?

im currently on 18" but im swaying toward 17" if i can pickup some nice staggered splits with rubber for my budget.

Are 17' too small for my e39? Theres so many sick splits on ebay that I could get but I know Id need to go silly low to pull them off.

style 32 atm 18" with 8J front and 9J rear.

i dont mind 17" wheels and i dont want to go silly low but the ability to would be nice everynow and then as i am running coilovers. i just need dish in my life thats all

can someone quickly explain offset for me?

i have ET20 front and ET22 Rear atm im looking at some wheels with offset ET40 this mean the alloy will stick out of the arch more?

no, this means it will go inward more

the lower the et, the further they come out
