Yeah, I don't want to cause any un-needed damage to the car given its condition just for some added cool points for being static.

I do fancy keeping this car for some time, and keeping it in better condition.

A valve for front and one for back, obviously it can be done but id expect the car to be off the road for a couple of weekends? Its gonna be abit trial and error but if you get errything and do some research then should be good to go

I'm not taking to University anyway so its no problems taking it off the road...

Struts would have to be custom anyway as nobody makes them for the E24 body, I know people who can weld so should be possible? I mean coilovers will cost like £800, bet you can do air install for not much more...
