  • This car does NOT like being lowered.

Hey guys, I'm Kyle. I drive an Impreza RS. I've had the car for like 2 years, but I think I've done more work to it in the past 4 days than I ever have. The stance leaves a bit to be desired. It's low enough for me, but I have to run a lot of negative camber and have pulled the fenders decently far. The amount of time and effort it took to fit the tires at this height was ridiculous. It's all I've done since Tuesday. Now it looks a bit more tucked than flush, so until I get wider rims it's gonna stay like that I guess.

The rear fenders are pulled about a half inch more now, and there is more camber.

Decent view of the front and side. Rear camber actually might be positive in this pic. I'm getting rid of those blue bulbs by the way haha. Plus it has a lip now.

Here's a better view of the rear. Sorry about only having cell pics. I'm going to take some real ones when weather permits.

    -Kyle

Stretch the tires a bit more and you should be able to fit those a bit better with less rubbage. Looks good though, my friend has a white one with some Gold OZ's and nothing looks better than gold wheels on these cars.

Haha I would go lower if I didn't have to drive it back to school with all of my stuff in it. I think my tires would be gone by the time I got there.

The wheels are too weak to stretch tires on. I don't like stretched tires on narrow rims at all. So if I get wider wheels, I might stretch some tire. I want to go 8.5-9" wide eventually, but wouldn't run less than a 235.

Bigger wheels and less meaty tires are the key, welcome aboard.

Wecome, as said, wider wheel, more stretch, then more low.

Haha, Harley's not ours, we're selling it for a family friend. We do have a pretty cool Miata that my dad and I built over the winter though. This is the only pic I have that it's made it into:
