  • low n slow jetta.

whats up everyone. names tyler i drive a mkiii jetta. it has the stock 2.slow with coilovers up front, waitin on a buddy to get me the rears. so for now i have an awesome rake goin on.
    heres some pics!

Future: spacers are in the mail so i can go lower without rubbing coilover, coilovers in the back obviously, fenders are rolled already and getting pulled soon, gold and black checkers under the hood, intake manifold, and center console, and a few other gold accents such as a gold lip on the wheels, and painting intake piping gold. and eventually i can see myself doin a vr swap. enjoy! any suggestions are highly appreciated.

You need some smaller wheels, 17s on a MK3 only work well on bags for the most part

im planning on 16's, i just dont know what kind yet. the wheels were kind of an impulse buy because i ***** the other wheels. im actually lookin for a cheap set of steelies now. and im just waitin on wheel spacers for the front so i can get lower, im already about 2 mm away from rubbing coilover, so i think if i went lower without them ill rub all the time.

yea those wheels are not doing your car justice... I would go with something wider and smaller... I would also not suggest a VR. Too much oil pan issues when your slammed. Trust me, I have gone through like 4 or 5 oil pans... Sometimes I wish I had a 2.0 all nice and tucked up above the lower crossmember... err, sometimes. lol

i think personally think certain 17's can be pulled off on jettas. but the ones i have def arent them. ive actually got a buddy who had a golf with a vr that got totaled and he's waitin to find out what insurance is doing, and if its worth buying back and parting out. if he parts it out he said i could have everything to do the swap for a grand, which i think is pretty good. but if that doesnt pan out i was thinkin of just turboing this, just on like 5 psi. just a little something to make it not slow as shit.

My friend Eric has 17s on his bagged MK3 Jetta and it's definitely one of the few that really pull the look off
