Hey what's up my name is Red, and I've got a '91 brilliantrot 318i. It's 4x4 status with a yakima roof rack and super dirty. No pics yet and I don't plan on any till its slammed. haha. Maybe some pics before I install the coils in the hopefully near future.
I've come to this site for guidance on proper fitment.
Hi guys, I'm Eli from the Minneapolis area. Lowered on KW V2 but not too aggressive right now since it's my daily driver on a long commute with shitty roads. Hoping to get a reliable daily driver so I can change it up.
Poor roads are not an excuse to not slam your car. We all deal with less than optimum conditions with our roads. Please stop saying you can't go low because your roads suck. You can't go low because YOU DONT WANT TO.
I've laid my frame out on the freeway more than a couple times.
I personally think your car is fine as is. Maybe a tad bit lower up front.
But like SeanDub said, nobody was calling anybody out. It's just the condition of the roads really has no bearing on how low you can drop your car. if you want it low, you gonna have to make it work. No if's, and's, or but's about it.
Like I said it wasn't directed at you specifically, but at the statement in general. Its a really weak excuse, being low requires some sacrifices that not everyone wishes to make, but makin it sound like those of who are low somehow drive on glass roads just gets annoying.
